This piece was started in the dead of winter. I was longing for some color and envisioned a perfect garden that was all blooms and summer sky.

Hand painted dyed gradient cotton. Hand beaded and embellished. Hidden in the piece are four ladybugs, five beetles, six butterflies, one grasshopper, two caterpillars, and one dragonfly.
